6.1. Various ISO labels available to define

An ISO file / image has various labels which can be changed or defined. This screen helps you to assign values to them.

These labels does not affect the functionality of the live CD.

The sample picture that is part of the screen should explain enough, and is taken from the K3B CD/DVD burning program.

The "VolumeID" is the label that will be displayed on file browsers and on your desktop.

You may also choose to embed an MD5 sum into the ISO image. This will help to verify data integrity.

Should you want to give the ISO image a unique name, or save it in a special location, you are also given the opportunity here.

Tip

You can always revert back to the defaults by clicking the Default button.
