10.1. Automatic Login

This part is used to specify whether you want to automatically log a specified user into a specified environment upon startup.

This avoids supplying passwords to users on demo live CDs.

Tip

The current setup should be reflected when Use Defaults is clicked.

There is a known issue:"KDE" is always displayed, despite the fact that the current auto login environment may be something else.

10.2. Mount available hard disks

If there are hard disks present on the machine which booted the live CD, this option specify if they should be mounted, and how.

This is automatically done by the "HAL" daemon.
